Pay: $70,000 - $150,000 / year depending on experience

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description:

The Data Developer will help build, maintain, and improve data solutions that support business operations and decision-making. This role focuses on working with Databricks, APIs, and data integration processes to ensure information flows effectively across systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on data development experience, strong communication skills, and an interest in leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve development efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to evolving data initiatives within a collaborative technology team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data solutions using Databricks to support business needs and operational reporting.
• Build and support API integrations that connect applications, platforms, and data sources.
• Transform, organize, and manage data to improve accessibility, reliability, and usability.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline and integration issues, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reliability.
• Support data visualization and reporting initiatives, including Power BI where applicable.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support code development.
• Help bridge communication between technical teams and business users to ensure data solutions align with organizational goals.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal data applications and processes.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data development, data engineering, or a related technical role.
• Experience working with Databricks.
• Experience developing, consuming, or maintaining APIs and data integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and completing assignments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a close-knit technical team.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
• Oil and gas or energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Exposure to SCADA, WellView, Quorum, or Merrick applications is beneficial.

Additional Details:

• Six-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
• Onsite position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
• No travel required.
