Are you a CPA who wants to do more than just prepare returns?
We're hiring on behalf of a 50+ employee wealth management and tax planning firm in the Peoria, AZ — a family-built business with 20+ years in operation, recognized as one of the Top Places to Work in the Phoenix Valley two consecutive years running , and the official financial planning partner of Grand Canyon University .
This isn't a traditional tax firm. It's a fully integrated financial services platform offering wealth management, insurance, tax planning, and estate and trust services — with a marketing-driven growth engine and a collaborative culture that's earned its reputation the right way.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing 200+ personal tax returns during busy season
- Leading proactive tax planning conversations with clients and advisors to reduce or eliminate tax burdens
- Supporting extensions, amended returns, and off-season planning projects
- Growing into a potential tax department leadership role as the firm continues to scale
What they're looking for:
- CPA (or EA with near-term CPA completion)
- Prior tax preparation experience required
- Strong client-facing communication skills — ability to make complex tax concepts easy to understand
- Detail-oriented, ethical, and comfortable in a faith-forward workplace culture
