Job Responsibilities Observes patients electrocardiogram (ECG) monitor, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and video monitors. Recognizes arrhythmias and obtains document strips. Reports arrhythmias to clinicians responsible for patient. Obtains baseline strips for all patients monitored during each shift. Replaces patients ECG electrode pads, wires, and batteries, as needed. Obtains patient EKG data, as needed. Regularly checks and cleans related emergency equipment. Performs related duties as required. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Prior Relevant Experience, Preferred. Prior experience with telemetry monitoring, preferred. Certification in cardiac monitoring, preferred.
