You will be required to work in all weather and be prepared for both extreme heat and cold environments.Formerly Enviro Services, now a part of the United Rentals Team, is one of North America's leading providers of erosion control. From pipelines to power lines to civil projects, we offer unmatched expertise in environmental solutions.What you'll do:Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, pre- and post-equipment inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policiesParticipate in routine maintenance (such as greasing, etc.) and ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely storedEffectively communicate to all site personnel and practice workplace safetyOperate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient mannerMaintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance, etc.Clear understanding of ground signals, and maintain constant eye contact with ground personnelOther duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license1-3 years of experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment on large construction projectsAbility to operate equipment independently, self-directed with minimal supervisionKnowledge of safety hazards of construction projects and inspection principles and techniquesExcellent communication skillsPotentially extensive site based assignments during the week or weekends, overtime eligibleAbility to meet site specific requirements (OSHA 10, TWIC, etc. as requested)This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
