Teacher Assistant Job Description Notre Dame School, recognizing that each person is created in the image of God, educates students with developmental disabilities, and facilitates their integration into society. Purpose: To provide appropriate educational, vocational, and independent living skills training that is designed to enhance student functioning, build confidence, and develop responsibility in each and every student. Notre Dame School educates students ages 6-21 with mild to moderate developmental disabilities.
