Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Clinical Technologist (IR Tech) Specialty located within the healthcare providers acute care facility. This position involves performing all interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR procedures, in a comprehensive stroke center environment. The role requires day shift coverage with on-call duties, supporting the departments commitment to patient care and advanced imaging services.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: ARRT certified radiologic technologist; BLS (AHA); minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology; neuro IR experience preferred.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, four 10-hour days, with approximately 8 on-call shifts including 1 weekend in a 6-week period. On-call response time is 30 minutes.
• Responsibilities: Performing all interventional radiology procedures, including neuro IR procedures, in a comprehensive stroke center setting. Maintaining departmental protocols and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
• Certifications: ARRT certification in radiation therapy or radiologic technology, BLS (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior neuro IR experience, VI or CV certifications a plus.
• Additional Information: Department utilizes Siemens and Phillips equipment, with all radiology procedures performed via EPIC and PACS systems. No floating responsibilities; the role is IR only. No IV starts required. The department has four rooms including neuro IR, with in-house radiologists available during the day and on-call nights/weekends. Shift entails 10 hours per day, with a week of departmental orientation and possible cancellation of shifts as needed.
