How You'll Make a Difference Perform comprehensive speech-language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations. Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide therapy across acute care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, outpatient, pediatric, adult, and geriatric settings. Perform dysphagia evaluations and participate in modified barium swallow studies. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Educate patients, caregivers, and families throughout the rehabilitation process. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development. Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation. Continue growing through education, mentorship, and professional development.
