Field Services Technician I

The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the clean‑up and preparation for transportation of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste. Tasks include loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, inspecting equipment, hoses and connections, and performing confined space entry. Position Responsibilities Safely operate equipment such as pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable laws. Handle, package, and transport both hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Remove materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools for industrial and environmental cleanup. Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment. Perform daily confined space entry, propulsion tools, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and other tools as needed. Maintain a neat and clean working environment. Act as a professional representative of Reworld while working autonomously at customer sites. Comply with OSHA health and safety rules and complete required training provided by Reworld. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED (preferred). Reworld offers a fully funded GED‑Works program for employees to achieve their GED. Ability to travel 10–25% of the time, including overnight travel. Physical Demands of the Role Walk, stand, sit, and climb. Lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Work from heights and in confined spaces. The final salary will be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, skills, travel requirements, and other factors.
