The role includes maintaining policies and procedures, delivering a positive service experience to members, ensuring Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD) club conditions, audit compliance, collaboration with Business Partners, oversight of onboarding, certification, and training, and serving as Manager on Duty for the club as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead the recovery, utility and perishable departments and overnight prep to ensure all areas are clean, stocked and ready for morning open. Maintain club standards, including GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate, Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean; Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank). Drive collaboration with Business Partners, oversight of onboarding, certification, and training for food safety and operational excellence. Serve as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for club operations, team leadership, and member engagement during assigned shifts. Coach recovery and utility clerks, monitor and improve productivity, and ensure efficient task execution and zone coverage. Enforce sanitation standards, validate daily cleaning checklists, sweep logs, waste pulls, and safety protocols. Manage audit readiness, ensuring all sanitation, cold chain, and safety checklists are completed and documentation is fully compliant. Ensure equipment functionality and escalation of issues with compactors, refrigeration units, and cleaning equipment. Coordinate with Closing Manager and other club leaders to improve closing routines and enhance the overall member experience. Use tools such as Hot List, NAFS, e‑reports, pallet tag usage, and productivity dashboards to validate execution and drive efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned and maintain full attendance to support club coverage. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations. Experience managing inventory turnover and waste reduction strategies. ServSafe Food Safety Certification required; forklift license annually. High school diploma required; college degree preferred. Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required. Open shift availability required; must be at least 18 years of age. Must maintain all required certifications and training. Job Conditions Frequent movement on hard surfaces, occasional bending, pulling, and reaching. Regular lifting up to 30 pounds; occasional heavier lifting with assistance. Exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises within perishable areas. Potential exposure to cleaning agents.
