Position Summary… What you’ll do… Assists other Maintenance Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment by: Supporting equipment repair and maintenance activities. Working collaboratively to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. General Maintenance and Housekeeping Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and work areas. Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents in accordance with established procedures. Facility Maintenance Maintains and repairs building facilities, including: Plumbing systems General construction projects Painting and facility upkeep Equipment Operation Operates material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment safely and effectively. Hazardous Materials Handling Assists with the use, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, including cleaning chemicals. Follows company policies, procedures, and safety regulations when working with hazardous materials. Preventive Maintenance and Repairs Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on equipment, including: Production equipment Lift trucks Pneumatic systems Material handling equipment Hydraulic equipment Dock equipment Electronic equipment Electrical equipment HVAC units Facilities and grounds equipment Responsibilities include: Following company policies and procedures. The hourly wage range for this position is $27.85 - $34.85* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
