Field Service Manager We are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for fire protection and safety to lead our Field Service team. Job Summary As Field Service Manager, you will ensure effective leadership and operational success of our service technicians, providing strategic and tactical guidance to achieve financial, operational and growth objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction. What You’ll Do Responsible for the operational and financial performance of the divisions service department, focusing on operational leadership, business growth and continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with branch manager/general manager in planning annual department goals, headcount needs, and growth projections. Partner with Human Resources to recruit, train, develop, and retain service technicians. Provide guidance on new employee training, periodic performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, and motivate ongoing development and training. Collaborate with other support teams to ensure optimal operations of all Service Department functions. Coordinate and manage regular meetings for the service team to ensure thorough communication and a collaborative team environment. Build a high‑performance team that operates efficiently, effectively, productively and cost‑effectively. Mentor and develop team members, regularly reviewing performance. Communicate with customers to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction. Support sales efforts through market lead participation and price optimization. Ensure all service, inspection, testing, and maintenance contracts are reviewed, tasked, scheduled, and executed to meet customer needs. Ensure employees correctly charge their time to assigned jobs for accurate costing. Manage scheduling and invoicing to schedule calls properly and generate invoices timely and accurately. Monitor that team members remain current on required certifications. Commit to a safety culture and provide required tools and PPE. Establish quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with fire and life safety regulations and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
