Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: Qualifications Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy American Heart Association BLS 2 years of recent relevant experience General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details $1,820 - $2,033 per week* 13-week contract with possibility to extend AM shifts available Hospital Setting Key Responsibilities Operate imaging equipment, and review images to be sure they are of good quality and helpful for diagnosis Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary of the results to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility What We Offer Full medical, dental, vision, life, and even pet insurance!
