Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person, fostering a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are guided by evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to make clinical decisions, coordinates and provides direct patient care, facilitates admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensures patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning.

Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
- BLS, ACLS certification.
- ADN or ASN degree.
- Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.
- Demonstrates responsibility for actions, clear communication, and active listening.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous nursing experience.
- BSN degree.
- CVICU experience.
