Responsibilities Deliver customer orders to meet scheduled delivery times and maintain productivity. Unload products with a hand truck and place items in the customer storage area. Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds. Make frequent stops during a work shift and deliver products in inclement weather conditions. Verify delivery of items with customers and collect money (cash or checks) where needed. What you bring to the table Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have valid CDL A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualified. Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months of foodservice or food and beverage truck delivery experience required. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No major CMV preventable accidents in the last 5 years; no DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if occurred while holding a CDL. Key requirements and notes Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation. All Truck Drivers must register to the Clearinghouse. If you have not registered, it is required. See the Clearinghouse page for help if needed. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, with the base rate typically between $15.95/hr and $45.00/hr. Component pay may include per-case or per-day incentives, depending on role and location.
