Warehouse AssociateWarehouse associate that will perform duties to include picking, labeling, re-labeling, loading, unloading, receiving, and inspections of material and dunnage for shipping, receiving and storage in a fast spaced environment.Daily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment.Daily use of hand held RF scanner.Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions.Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S.Key responsibilities will include the following:Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products.Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks.Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Verify Dunnage and count for shipments. Move material to proper area for storage.Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutionsAvoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation.Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard.Responsible for one's own workYour ProfileMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.2+ years of experience with powered industrial truck such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc.2+ years of warehouse experienceDaily use of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.Preferred SkillsBilingual: English / SpanishGood computer skills and keyboard proficiency if required.Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.Contact & Additional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
