Production Specialist

The company is targeting $50 billion in annual revenue within the decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.Job DescriptionWhat you'll do:Operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications.Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production.Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards.Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance.Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPEAssist with inventory management, including receiving and organizing metal sheets and related materials.Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentOperate Warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yardWork outdoors with exposure to all weather conditionsVerify order contents and maintain documentationInspect, organize, maintain, and track inventoryPreserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and paintingShift and ScheduleFull-Time PositionMonday–Friday.Start time 7am until work is done, around 5pmFlexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Strong interest in developing technical expertise within roofing products and systems.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support both internal teams and external customers.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.Ability to interpret basic technical documentation and product specifications (preferred).Benefits401(k) with employer matchMedical, dental, and vision insurancePTO, company holidays, and parental leavePaid training and certificationsLegal assistance and identity protectionPet insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP)Benefits for union-represented roles are determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and may differ from standard company benefits.QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
