Warehouse Worker

The Warehouse Worker accurately handles, moves, and tracks products throughout a large racked warehouse using manual equipment, handheld scanners, and a proprietary computer system. This role involves frequent heavy lifting, constant movement, and working at various heights to ensure orders are processed efficiently and stored correctly.

Responsibilities

• Use hand carts and pallet jacks to locate and move boxes on warehouse racking.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull boxes, including moving them up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surfaces or elevation without assistance.
• Read labels accurately and process incoming and outgoing orders according to established procedures.
• Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the precise location of boxes.
• Operate a handheld RF scanner to locate products and record all product movements in the system.
• Climb and balance on ladders to access boxes on higher racking levels safely.
• Load pallets with boxes and apply shrink wrap at ground level or on carts as needed.
• Maintain a steady work pace while meeting quota-based order selection requirements when assigned.
• Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods to complete daily warehouse tasks.
• Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment and moving heavy items.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of heavy lifting work experience preferred.
• Experience with quota-based order selection is preferred.
• Familiarity with using pallet jacks and hand carts in a warehouse setting.
• Comfort using a proprietary or warehouse management computer system to track inventory and orders.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
