Our small, laid-back but organized private practice is looking to hire a treatment coordinator / scheduler. This is a great o pportunity that hasn't come up for hire in several years.

THE TEAM:

Most days are one doc and one hygienist, with two docs on Wednesdays and every other Friday. Both docs have been at the office for 17 years.

THE SCHEDULE:

We have great hours. We are open Mondays 9-5, Tuesdays 9-5, Wednesdays 10-6, Thursdays 9-5, every other Friday 9-3 (and will be off every Friday starting in June). We take 1 hour lunch breaks.

THE OFFICE / THE VIBE:

We are a bread and butter PPO non-Medicaid office. Just run of the mill cleanings, SRP, fillings, crown/bridge work, implant restorations and dentures/partials. Very few extractions. No implant placement. No huge full mouth all on X cases. We are a small office with close patient relationships and don't intend on changing that.

THE POSITION:

The position would mainly focus on presenting comprehensive treatment plans to patients. This position requires a candidate who is confident in insurance breakdowns and accepting payments for services that are being scheduled or rendered. The candidate would also be expected to answer incoming calls / schedule treatment for existing patients as well as follow up with unscheduled treatment. NEW patients are directed to an offsite coordinator so this position really only has to deal with current treatment plans and patients. Extra consideration will be given to those with additional clinical background.
