Job Description

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Proficient in delivering and monitoring respiratory care to patients of varying ages and conditions
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Experience performing ventilator management, administering aerosolized medications, conducting arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred

Contract Details:

• Assignment located in Reno, NV
• Duration as specified per contract agreement

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including airway management, ventilator support, and chest physiotherapy
• Manage and maintain life-support equipment, ensuring proper function and documentation
• Respond efficiently to respiratory emergencies and participate in resuscitation efforts when necessary
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, therapies, and at-home equipment usage
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with facility protocol and regulatory standards

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
