About the Position

Job Title: Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year, previous oncology/infusion outpatient experience required License: Oncology Certified (ONCC or ONS) Certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: - Familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps - EPIC experience preferred Description: This position is for an Oncology RN performing 6 infusions plus 1-2 port draws daily. The manager provides support and recognition to travelers. Travelers are considered valued members of the team. The clinic has many returning travelers. The RN should be comfortable with administering chemotherapy and monitoring patients. The RN will also be responsible for managing ports and central lines. The position does not require weekend shifts or call duties. RTO restrictions must be included at the time of submittal. Travelers are expected to float between facilities within a given state. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All Providers may be supplied with communication devices needed to perform assigned duties. Compliance references are required covering previous experience within the last three years. The position involves caring for adults and geriatric patients, with a daily census involving multiple infusions. Training modules may require approximately 16 hours of completion.
