Pipelayer Brief Description Job Title: Pipelayer. Location: Salt Lake City Area (Project Sites Throughout Utah). Projects are primarily located throughout the Greater Salt Lake City area. Travel between job sites may be required. Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 hourly, depending on job stability and years of pipelaying experience. Responsibilities Install or repair sanitary or storm‑water sewer systems. Dig trenches and locate pipes for repair/replacement. Use lasers, grade rods, and other tools to set pipe installation grades. Ensure safety by following Blue Stake policy and operating equipment properly. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Proficient in the safe operation of hand/power tools and construction equipment. Ability to read construction plans and follow safety protocols. Knowledge of traffic rules and safety on highways.
