Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to facilitate improvements in patients' motor capabilities, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, comprehensive care for every patient.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to encourage progress in their home environment.
• Track and Adjust Care: Monitor clinical outcomes, document progress, and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.

Education and Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Encouragement and support for ongoing education or additional certifications.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active OTR/L license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
