Overview Registered Nurse – ICU in Geneva, NY, United States Start date: 07/06/2026 Contract duration: 14 weeks Weekly pay: $1,918-$1,992 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (7a-7p / 7p-7a) Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital ICU This travel assignment places an ICU-capable RN in a short-term acute care environment, providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients with a rotating 12-hour schedule that includes every other weekend and holidays as needed. Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU-level care to adult and geriatric patients, including those with complex conditions and requiring ventilator support
• Monitor vital signs, interpret hemodynamic data, manage lines and devices (arterial/central lines, IVs, drains) and titrate therapies as ordered
• Administer medications and therapies, assess for adverse effects, and respond to clinical changes promptly
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, respiratory therapists, imaging, pharmacy, and support staff) to implement and adjust care plans
• Document assessments, plans, progress, and discharge planning in the electronic medical record; maintain accurate and timely communication
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and patient-family education standards; provide age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations as needed

Requirements

• Active NYS RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
• NIHSS certification required
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred: Emergency Nurses Association certification within 2 years of hire; TNCC recommended within 2 years
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion; effective communication and teamwork; ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting
• The role supports age-appropriate nursing care across the adult to geriatric population
