Oracle DBAIndustry: BankingLocation: Durham NC, Merrimack NH, Westlake TX, Smithfield RI, Boston MA, Jersey City NJ, Covington KY.Duration: Long term contractProject: Build Medical / Care Management platform, providing market-leading solution for Utilization Mgmt., Prior Authorization, Case & Disease Management and Concurrent Review.Top Requirements:SQL TuningAWS CloudDelphixSnowflakePrimary Responsibilities:BS in Computer Science or equivalent desirableAbility to perform applications database administration (Oracle) services including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, database application design, physical data modeling, development support & EngineeringExperience in setting up, installing and managing multisite databases using Oracle Goldengate replicationExperience with cloud databases platforms on Linux environmentsAbility to quickly diagnose the problem areas and come up with solutions and/or workaroundsProvide database support in all phases of SDLC and agile experience is preferredParticipate in 24X7 on call rotation schedule for various production support, database maintenance, housekeeping and installsWork with enterprise teams for Systems Administrators, Cyber Security and Capacity Planning groups as and when situation demandsStrong time leadership skills with willingness and ability to prioritize multiple projects/initiatives at the same timeSelf-motivated with strong team, interpersonal and communication skillsEstablish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations and onboarding new applications and/or clientsAdvanced skills in SQL Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid control (OEM 12c), Linux shell scripting, and writing database monitoring jobs in PL/SQLStrong Linux shell scripting experience preferredAbility to work well in a team environment, as well as maintaining a flexible attitude are a mustAbility to develop and drive database administration strategies and initiatives as per the needs of the teamRequired Skills: Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Client is looking for local candidate with 9+ years of experience.
