Drive strategic finance projects and cross-functional partnerships.Job DescriptionOverviewLead fund accounting operations for a dynamic private equity firm with a focus on middle-market investments.Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with partnership agreements.Oversee investor reporting, cash management, and liquidity forecasting for multiple funds.Drive process improvements and enhance internal controls across accounting workflows.Support strategic finance initiatives, including system implementations and ad-hoc analyses.Work in a hybrid environment with exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.Join a results-driven firm with a 23+ year track record in private equity investments.Key Responsibilities & DutiesCoordinate with fund administrators and auditors to ensure accurate fund accounting and reporting.Prepare and review quarterly and ad-hoc investor accounting and reporting.Support the quarterly valuation process and performance calculations.Manage capital calls, distributions, and compliance with partnership agreements.Assist in developing and enhancing accounting processes and internal controls.Collaborate with investment teams, compliance, investor relations, and operations teams.Participate in strategic finance initiatives and system implementations.Handle special projects and provide miscellaneous firm support as needed.Job RequirementsBachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with 8 years preferred.Proficiency in partnership accounting and familiarity with alternative investments.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.Experience with system implementations and process improvement initiatives.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional collaboration.Comfortable with hybrid work arrangements and exposure to senior leadership.
