Public Safety Communications Dispatcher

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley is hiring a POLICE COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR in Edinburg, Texas. This position requires effective communication skills to handle emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatch personnel, and monitor alarm systems. Applicants should have at least a high school graduation or GED, ideally with an associate's degree in Criminal Justice. You will be required to work rotating shifts and manage communications in a fast-paced environment.
