Position Overview:

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for being the point of contact for a group of branch Client Management Specialist, Inventory Coordinators and Buyers processing client products and business portfolios. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for being an escalation point to the team in terms of ensuring that all customer requirements are met, while liaising with suppliers, customers, employees, and the sales force to best meet client needs.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Point of contact for the operations support team, assist with questions and escalate issues.
• Assist to develop CMS back-up plan for branch, provide back-up support as needed.
• Oversee orders from inception to payment, in alignment with Stephen Gould policy and procedures.
• Handle customer disputes as needed
• Manage customer events, internal events, and customer presentations; in partnership with Office Manager or on own, depending on the scope of the event
• Escalate any personnel concerns/issues to the Operations Manager
• Evaluate CMS, Buyer and Inventory Coordinators performance and be involved in the annual Performance Review cycle including providing performance feedback
• Assist with onboarding of new staff.
• Support implementation of any new corporate or divisional processes or initiatives
• Epicor training lead/liaison for the branch
• Assist with standard and ad hoc reporting for management.
• Support SA business; perform all standard CMS responsibilities.
• Support Sales Manager and Office Manager on all ad hoc requests
• Assist Office Manager with office expense management

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience required in a corporate sales and service environment.

Additional Qualifications:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and virtual communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom highly preferred.
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system knowledge for core supply chain, manufacturing, services, financial and other processes highly preferred
• Leadership experience in supply chain or logistics operations
• Excellent communication skills, effectively presents information and frames content.
• Organized, self-motivated, results oriented individual.
• Interpersonal skills to perform in a collaborative team environment.
• Some accounting/bookkeeping experience is preferred.
