Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required, Interventional Radiology experience required License: Active Ohio RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience preferred Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology specialty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Interventional Radiology. Active Ohio RN License is required for this position. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using the EPIC charting system. The nurse will be responsible for circulating and managing interventional procedures. Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Additional skills include the ability to scrub procedures and manage various lines and drains. The nursing staff will collaborate with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. The unit operates during normal business hours from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Procedures performed include vascular access, IVC filter placement and removal, and embolization. Weekend coverage may be required on an every other or every third weekend basis. The nurse will be expected to take call shifts during the contract period. All candidates must comply with the fingerprinting process as required by state regulations. Professional references are required for the application process.
