MST therapists receive ongoing training in the MST model and work closely with youth ages 11–17, their families, and their broader support networks. MST addresses serious behavioral concerns, criminal involvement, and substance use by empowering families and implementing intensive, research-supported interventions such as skill building, restructuring unhelpful interactions, and strengthening social supports. Learn more at As an MST Therapist with Compass you will: Provide direct clinical treatment following MST principles, emphasizing strengths, behavior patterns, and increased mature behavior Conduct thorough assessments of client and family strengths, concerns, and ecological factors to guide case conceptualization. Work effectively with a diverse population of clients and families. Continuously work to engage caregivers, family members, supports, schools, probation, and child welfare in change-focused treatment. Participate in weekly case planning and progress evaluation with team and supervisor support. Receive ongoing MST training, supervision, and professional development to build advanced clinical skills. Ensure clients have access to 24/7 crisis support in coordination with the clinical team.
