Assistant Teacher (Preschool)

25–29 hours per week | $20.90–$22.17 DOE/DOQ

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County, we're looking for an Assistant Teacher who understands that the preschool years are about so much more than learning letters and numbers. They're about discovering independence, building friendships, solving problems, and helping children realize they're capable of amazing things.

As part of our Early Learning team at the Anacortes Family Center, you'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a classroom where children feel safe to explore, ask questions, make mistakes, and celebrate new discoveries every day. Whether you're reading stories, encouraging imaginative play, helping comfort a child who's having a tough morning, or cheering on a new accomplishment, you'll be making an impact that lasts far beyond the classroom.

We're looking for someone who is patient, dependable, and brings genuine warmth to everything they do. Experience in early learning is wonderful, but just as important is a desire to learn, grow, and become someone children can trust and look forward to seeing each day. We'll provide the training and support to help you succeed.
