• Salary: $20 – $24 per hour
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with preventative care, vaccines, and patient wellness visits
• Apply Fear Free practices to help create a positive patient experience
• Dispense and administer medications as directed
• Obtain complete patient histories and maintain accurate treatment records
• Perform pharmacology calculations
• Support surgical procedures, including prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Assist with dentistry and radiography
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Educate clients and communicate recommendations clearly and professionally
• Contribute to all areas of patient care as a skilled veterinary team member

What You’ll Bring

• At least two years of veterinary experience
• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, or Registered Veterinary Technician
• Strong technical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care
• Knowledge of preventative care, vaccines, Fear Free practices, and common hospital workflows
• The ability to build rapport with clients, fellow team members, and leadership
• Clear client education and communication skills
• A team-focused mindset grounded in mutual respect
• A positive, supportive approach, even in challenging situations
• Patience, kindness, compassion, and understanding
• The ability to respond to a fast-paced environment with professionalism
