Open Position Therapist/ Counselor Are you a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a passion for supporting teenagers and young adults in Tampa Bay and surrounding areas? We are seeking an exceptional Teen and Young Adult Therapist to join our team at Bloom and make a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals. Requirements Evening and weekend availability Must be available for 20-30 hours weekly Conduct individual therapy sessions with teenagers and young adults, addressing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and behavioral concerns. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients develop coping mechanisms, enhance self-awareness, and build resilience. Utilizing The Bloom Way (link) Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals. Foster a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can express their thoughts and feelings freely. Provide guidance and support to clients in managing stress, building healthy relationships, and developing positive self-image. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal requirements. Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in adolescent and young adult mental health. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Current licensure or certification as a therapist. Experience working with teenagers and young adults, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting. Strong knowledge of adolescent development, mental health disorders, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and trust with clients. Empathy, patience, and the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental environment.
