Overview This is a full‑time position working 10 hour, varied days including weekends. Our rehab team at Scripps La Jolla is eager to welcome an acute inpatient Occupational Therapist to their tight‑knit department. This team partners closely with other rehab disciplines to provide a collaborative approach to patient care. Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, assessment, prognosis, treatment, and education to patients and clients through a continuum of care according to the therapist's respective licensure/registration/certification, Code of Ethics, Federal/State regulations, JCAHO/UMQC and Care Center policies and procedures. They perform competencies as outlined in Rehabilitation Services Competency Assessment tools and demonstrate age‑specific care as established for area and job title. Benefits $4K New Hire Retention Incentive : 30% at 3 months and 70% at 12 months. $3K Relocation if moving from 100+ miles. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Current or Pending CA Occupational Therapy License (if pending, license must be in hand by start) Current BLS Certificate from the American Heart Association Preferred Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
