Project Manager

Role : Project Manager Location : Aberdeen, MD / Remote (Travel required up to 1 week per month) Education/Certifications : BS/BA (may substitute 3+ years’ additional experience); PMP preferred Years of Experience : 5+ years (3+ years’ leadership experience) Clearance Level & Investigation : Tier 3 or equivalent (ADP/IT-II) IT Level (AR 25-2) : IT-II or NACLC IA Cert Level (DoD 8570.01) : IAM Level II Computing Environment Certifications : Relevant certification from nationally recognized authority (preferred) Job Description: Serve as project manager and assist government PM in working with Government KO, government SMEs, and customer agency representatives. Under guidance of government PM, responsible for overall management of contract and ensuring technical solutions and schedules implemented in timely manner. Required Experience: Must have 5+ years’ relevant experience with at least 3 years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility (public and/or private sector in IT and/or consulting fields). Preference for managing IT system efforts within federal government environment. Required Education / Certifications: BS/BA or 3 additional years of related experience. DoW Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level II Preferred: Program Management certification (i.e. Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, other recognized certification, etc.) Preferred: Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.
