Manufacturing Sr Engineer I

Zimmer Biomet seeks a senior manufacturing engineer to provide engineering support for medical device manufacturing processes, including process development, validation, and continuous improvement. The role involves technical documentation, feasibility analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration in Minnetonka, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documents including prints, procedures, and bills of materials
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze equipment capacity and capability requirements
• Develop and execute project plans for process validation and equipment qualification
• Lead root cause analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and troubleshooting activities
• Serve as manufacturing representative on new product development and quality initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Proficiency in geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and drafting standards
• Knowledge of statistical process control and CNC programming
• Experience with change management, CAPA, and quality control procedures
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project
• Lean Principles or Six Sigma certification preferred

Compensation: $95,000-$120,000 base with annual bonus
