Your duties will include supervising both direct and indirect nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. If you're seeking a rewarding position where you can make a difference while being supported by a dedicated team, come grow your career with us!Schedule: OR 6:30am-3:00pm, PACU 7:30am -4:00pmLocation: 596 Lancaster Ave Suite 300 Malvern, Pennsylvania 19355ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, evaluate and accurately document nursing care for the pre-operativeCoordinate all aspects of nursing care with pre-operative team to achieve defined patient outcomesWorks closely with the surgeons and the anesthesia care providers to guide the child safely through the postoperative periodProvide nursing care patients in post op, continuously monitoring and assessing patients during their stayAssisting patients recovering from anesthesiaAssessing the patient's health status and previous medical historyProvide appropriate education to the patient's family regarding their individualized plan of care for at home recoveryQualificationsGraduate of accredited School of NursingAt least one year of experience as an RN preferredPrevious experience working in a pediatric or ambulatory surgery setting a plusAbility to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start dateCurrent Pennsylvania RN LicenseWhat We OfferWe believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
