DevOps Consultant with Puppet

Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, => Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.Job DescriptionStrong experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef or anequivalent - Good knowledge with Puppet, Puppet’s declarative language to specify systemconfiguration in Puppet manifests, complex resource dependencies, compilation into catalogsfor distribution to target systems/servers, and split Puppet Master architecture. - Provenconfiguration management skills and mindset - Experience maintaining large clusters usingconfiguration tools such as : Puppet/Chef - Strong practical Linux and Windows-basedsystems administration skills in a cloud or virtualized environment - Prior experience ofQualificationsoperating highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions - Strong hands-on experiencein any of the scripting language - Shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby - Experience with revisioncontrol source code repositories (Git, SVN, etc- ) - Work with development teams to identifyand implement automation in appropriate areas - Knowledge on distributedapplications/enterprise applications is plus. - Deep, working knowledge of web, database,and OS server configuration (Linux, Apache, and MySQL preferred platforms) - Strongdebugging/troubleshooting skills - Excellent verbal & written communication skillsAdditional Information** U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
