What You'll Do

Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments used in trauma, neuro, transplant, ENT, plastics, and other complex procedures
Maintain strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely instrument availability
Track and manage tray and instrument supplies efficiently
Follow established procedures for trauma cases, including total joints, neuro spine, and open heart surgeries
Document all sterilization and processing activities accurately

What You Need

Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA (must be in hand)
Minimum 5 years of sterile processing experience, preferably in trauma center settings
Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instrument management
Ability to work a flexible evening shift
Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills

This role is at a busy Level 1 trauma center specializing in complex surgeries including total joints, neuro spine, craniotomies, open heart, lung, and heart transplants. The facility is committed to providing high-quality care and supporting its staff through comprehensive resources and team support.
