Essential Duties and Responsibilities As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements: Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs. Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer. Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants. Recommend Product Solutions. Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer. Perform a combination of duties during 95% of your day, including operating cash registers, merchandise recovery, participating in freight processing, completing plan-o-gram procedures, assembling merchandise, performing janitorial duties, executing price changes, operating equipment (forklift, baler), assisting with loading, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Must be able to read, write, and count accurately. Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict. Working Conditions Indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor lots on hard surfaces. Shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours. Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment. Physical Requirements Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds. Push/pull merchandise with equipment assistance. Lift or reach overhead occasionally. Stand, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders frequently. Operate store equipment safely. Complete documentation accurately. Handle birds/poultry and complete required training and certifications.
