Assistant Property Manager

Assist with daily property management operations. Serve as a point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance, lease terms, payments and general inquiries. Coordinate and follow up on maintenance and repair requests with facilities team. Process rent payments, track delinquencies, and send late notices as needed. Support the team preparing lease agreements, renewals and other related documents. Support the team conducting property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards. Process and maintain records in accordance with applicable HUD/IFA compliance requirements. Collaborate with community partners on administration of TBRA and additional grant funding. Maintain accurate records of leases and financial transactions, and communications. Support budgeting processes and track property expenses. Support the Property Manager in supervision of office staff as assigned. Respond to emergencies in the absence of the Property Manager. Ensure adherence to property policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Qualifications & Program Information What you need: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Real Estate preferred. At least 2 years of experience in property management. At least 1 year experience in LIHTC, HUD, or HOME. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve conflicts effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
