Position Overview

Inner Hope and Balance Mental Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team. Work Environment

As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that our client's needs are met, including potential evening and weekend hours. Our outpatient office model allows for dynamic interactions with clients from the comfort of their homes, fostering a flexible and approachable therapeutic environment. This role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the therapeutic experience and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to uncover clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that identify clear goals and strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops to enhance therapeutic outcomes and client learning.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, as well as safety planning when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate records of client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experience a multitude of mental health challenges. As an LMFT, you will engage with individuals, couples, and families providing guidance and support. Your therapeutic interventions will be critical in helping clients navigate their emotional struggles, heal from trauma, and build resilience.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

Preferred Experience

We encourage applicants with at least two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient setting. Candidates who demonstrate a thorough understanding of effective treatment modalities and have hands-on experience working with diverse populations will be highly regarded.
