About the Role:

UVSO is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain our campus of residential and commercial properties. This vital role ensures our facilities and grounds are clean, safe, and functional for our staff, visitors, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting.

• Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events.

• Conduct routine building checks and complete daily work reports.

• Maintain adjacent walkways and grounds, including snow removal.

• Transport supplies between campus locations.

• Open and close buildings following security protocols.

• Assist with shipping and receiving.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building cleaning and maintenance.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity.

• Ability to lift 15-75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

• Valid NJ Driver’s License required.

• Excellent customer service skills and a courteous demeanor.

• Formal training in plumbing, HVAC, or general contracting is a plus.

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule.
