Senior Associate

Responsibilities Maintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions Demonstrating an understanding of accounting and auditing concepts and applying them to client situations Bridging the gap between logistics procedures and financial accounting processes Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently Supervise and review work performed by other staff Apply innovative methodologies that support an audit Review and evaluate internal controls and supporting documentation Develop solutions for implementation to mitigate deficiencies in internal control activities and supporting documentation Determine compliance with policies and applicable laws/regulations Qualifications Required Qualifications BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or Business Administration with a major in Accounting Minimum of 3 years of accounting and auditing experience Experience working with Federal and/or DoD clients a plus Experience with Federal clients, A-123, and internal controls is a plus Experience working with financial statement compilation Ability to navigate a transaction database and determine potential issues or inappropriate postings Proficient skills in Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willing to travel up to 50% of the time Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship) Preferred Qualifications CPA highly desirable Overview Emphasis on government clients continues with a broad range of services. This range is representative of base pay and does not include additional compensation such as bonuses; actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses where applicable.
