Technical Support Specialist - Cleaning Equipment

Salary: $80,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong grasp of volts, ohms, and amps, with confident use of a digital multimeter
• Working knowledge of switches, relays, circuit breakers, potentiometers, motors, batteries, and chargers, along with the ability to troubleshoot each
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Advanced hands-on skills with manual tools
• Strong phone communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly
• Computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and web-based tools
• Strong written communication skills for documenting calls and summarizing next steps
• A humble, curious mindset and a commitment to continuous learning
• Willingness to complete hands-on training on the assembly line
• Prior experience in electro-mechanical repair, field service, or technical support is a plus
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including getting down to and up from the floor, lying on the ground to inspect equipment, working in confined positions, and lifting or moving parts and equipment as needed

• Respond to calls from dealer and distributor field technicians and help troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Diagnose faults involving switches, relays, circuit breakers, potentiometers, motors, batteries, and chargers
• Read schematics to determine root causes of equipment problems
• Use a digital multimeter to measure voltage, resistance, and current
• Program and configure equipment using a laptop
• Record all technician interactions and send professional follow-up emails outlining the issue, guidance provided, next steps, and recommended replacement parts
• Assist Quality Control by diagnosing electrical issues on newly assembled equipment
• Complete hands-on training by working on the assembly line
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and support teams to improve products and documentation
