Speech and Language Pathologist in Nevada City, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide dedicated support to elementary students in Nevada City, CA. This full-time contract position spans 160-170 days and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of children in grades TK-5. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 40-45 students at a single elementary site, providing individualized therapy and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored speech and language therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to foster student success
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credential/license
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize time
• Knowledge of current speech and language therapy techniques and practices
