We're looking for an experienced restaurant operator who is comfortable on the floor, knows how to lead a team, understands the numbers, and takes ownership of the business.The right GM knows how to balance great hospitality with strong operations. You should be able to walk into a busy service, immediately see what needs attention, coach the team in real time, and keep the restaurant running at a high level without losing sight of the guest experience.What You'll OwnDay-to-day operation of the restaurantRecruiting, training, developing, and retaining a strong FOH teamLeading managers and creating clear accountabilityService standards and the overall guest experienceLabor scheduling and labor-cost managementSales, costs, productivity, and operating performanceStaff communication, pre-shifts, and ongoing trainingWorking closely with the Chef and ownership teamMaintaining restaurant standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and appearanceResolving guest and employee issues quickly and professionallyWho We're Looking ForYou're someone who:Has 3+ years of successful GM or senior restaurant management experienceHas managed a busy, full-service restaurant in NYC or a comparable marketIs a visible, hands-on leader during serviceCan hold people accountable without losing the teamUnderstands scheduling, labor, COGS, P&L performance, and restaurant financialsKnows how to hire and develop good peopleIs organized and follows throughHas high standards and notices the detailsUnderstands that hospitality applies to both guests and employeesCan make decisions and take ownership without waiting to be told what to doAbout UsWe are an established independent NYC restaurant group with experienced ownership and a strong support structure.
