Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a critical access healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across diverse presentations. The position requires adaptability to float between units and to work night shifts from 11/30/2026 to 03/01/2027.

Job Details

• Position Description: 1YCHARGE EXP REQ - ER RN – The role requires a minimum of one year of charge experience, with strong skills in managing a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma, stroke, and cardiac events. The RN will provide patient care in high-acuity environments, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to safety protocols.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (NRP preferred), NIHSS.
• Education and Experience: Valid RN license, at least one year of experience in emergency nursing, with experience in level I or level II trauma centers preferred.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 11/30/2026 to 03/01/2027.
• Responsibilities: Managing acute psychosis, respiratory infections, trauma, obstetric emergencies, and more. Proficient in interpreting dysrhythmias, starting IVs, airway management, and procedural sedation.
• Additional Requirements: Ability to float between units, flexibility to work on scheduled holidays, and compliance with all certification and licensing standards.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and respond to the required screening questions regarding previous experience at Providence facilities.
