Role Overview: A Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams using advanced imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images tailored to patient needs. They apply their knowledge of imaging techniques, patient care, and safety to produce optimal results. Responsibilities: Conduct mammography procedures according to physician orders, utilize sophisticated equipment, and consider individual patient factors. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an Oregon Radiographer License, American Heart Association BLS certification, and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography. Certification in Mammography required within six months of hire. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and patient-focused care are essential.
