L&D Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated L&D Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

This position requires working night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide comprehensive care and support to patients during the postpartum and antepartum periods.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct fetal monitoring and respond to changes in fetal status.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and other health-related topics.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Fetal Monitoring certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience in postpartum and antepartum care.
• Permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
