Travel RN - Cath Lab/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a community hospital in Indiana, requiring active Cath Lab experience and an IN or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in the Cath Lab of a 104-bed community hospital,
• Day shift schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (5x8s),
• Staff are required to remain until all procedures are complete each day, Monday through Friday,
• No after-hours or weekend call requirements,
• No weekend work required,
• Patient ratio is 1:1,
• Charting performed in Meditech,
• May float to inpatient units or pre/post areas for task-only duties when Cath Lab volumes are low,
• No parking costs,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted),
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,
• Prior Cath Lab experience required,
• Community hospital experience required,
• Proficiency in circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have Cath Lab experience,
• Navy scrubs are provided by the facility,
• Candidates must submit all time-off or scheduling requests at the time of initial consideration,
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration,
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration,
• Candidates who were directly employed by the facility within the past 12 months are not eligible without prior written approval,
